About this part
An aluminium hitch mount for a 2 inch receiver, supplied with a locking pin and a synthetic soft shackle rated 38,000 lb.
This is the right way to pull from the back of a vehicle. The load goes through the receiver tube, which is bolted to the frame, instead of through a tow ball. A tow ball is not a recovery point. Balls shear and they travel.
Soft shackles have no metal to become a missile. Keep them off sharp edges and check the loop for fuzz and cuts before each use.
