What we collect

Order details
Name, email, phone, shipping address, billing address, the items ordered and the payment method chosen.
Account details
Your email, a hashed password, and saved addresses if you choose to save them. We never store a readable password.
Messages
Anything you write in the contact form, plus the address you asked us to reply to.
Technical data
Your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, recorded by the web server in its access log.

We do not collect card numbers. Card payment is not live on this store, and when it is, the card details will go directly to the payment provider and never touch our server.

Why we collect it

  • To take payment for an order, pick it, ship it and confirm delivery.
  • To answer a question you sent us, and to keep a record of what was agreed.
  • To handle a return, a warranty claim or a carrier damage claim.
  • To meet Canadian tax and bookkeeping obligations, which set how long we keep sales records.
  • To send restock and pricing emails, only if you asked for them.

Who else sees it

We share the minimum needed to complete your order, and nothing beyond that.

Carriers
Your name, address and phone number, so the parcel can be delivered.
Hosting provider
The site and its database run on shared hosting, so the provider holds the data at rest.
Payment provider
Once card payment is live, the provider handles the transaction and we receive only a result and the last four digits.
Accountant and tax authority
Sales records, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else to market to you.

Cookies

Session cookie
Keeps your cart and your sign-in attached to your browser. The store cannot work without it.
Theme preference
Your light or dark choice, stored in the browser rather than on our server.

There is no advertising tracker and no third-party analytics script on this site.

How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice records: kept for as long as Canadian tax law requires.
  • Contact messages: kept for two years, then deleted.
  • Newsletter address: kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Server access logs: kept short term for security and troubleshooting.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it.

Send the request through the contact form using the email address on the account so we can confirm it is you. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Database access uses prepared statements only, so submitted text is never treated as a query.

No system is perfect. If we discover a breach that puts you at real risk, we will tell you and the regulator.

When this notice changes we update it here and change the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your information will also be emailed to account holders.
