About this part
Kit contents: a 3 inch by 20 foot recovery strap with a 33,400 lb minimum breaking strength, two D ring shackles rated 41,800 lb, and a storage case.
The shackles are rated above the strap, which is the right way round. The strap should be the part that gives first, and it should still sit well above anything you actually load.
Steel D rings need a rated recovery point to shackle through. If the machine does not have one, fit one before you need it.
